Lindy Hop Level 3 - Mixing 6 and 8 Count Swing Dance Intermediate Class

Are you an Intermediate level Lindy Hopper starting to tackle the challenge of mixing 6-count and 8-count moves in your dancing? Then this class is for you! In this class we will play with “Leading & Following when 12 becomes 8”: taking two 6-count moves you already know and condensing them into a a fun new 8-count move that will improve your partner connection skills and help banish that “footwork panic!” This will help Leaders lead with intention, building confidence in your footwork, pulse and sequencing. Followers get to practice following in the moment, building your sensitivity to rhythm & footwork, power & pacing and “letting go” of attachment to 6 or 8 patterns. This skill also opens up fun possibilities for musicality! Walk-ins are welcome or pre-book online.
