Lindy Hop Musicality Workshop with Elze & Steve

Lindy Hop Musicality Workshop An exploratory workshop on connecting more deeply with swing music and dance. We’ll dive into different songs and styles, musical structures and rhythms, riffs and breaks — exploring how dancers can listen, respond, and play with the music in new ways. This workshop is designed for experienced dancers who are comfortable with Lindy Hop fundamentals and partner improvisation. After the workshop, our favourite social dance, Stomp & Swing, will be happening in the same space from 7:30–11:00pm, with discounted entry included for workshop participants. We’re also planning to spend the first part of the social hanging out together in the garden and sharing food potluck-style. Your Teachers Elze Visnevskyte International dance educator, performer, and choreographer from Lithuania. From an early age, she explored a wide range of dance styles, from Renaissance dance to traditional folk dances. For the past 15 years, she has taught swing dance worldwide, inspiring dancers through her deep knowledge, creativity, and love for the art form. Steven Coombe International bandleader, Lindy Hop educator, MC, and DJ. As the bandleader of the renowned Shirt Tail Stompers, Steven has performed at Lindy Hop festivals and competition weekends around the world, bringing his passion for swing music and dance to audiences internationally.
