Lindy Hop with Lainey Silver

A rare opportunity to learn from international instructor. After 13 years in New York City, Lainey Silver is currently a nomadic dancer, instructor, performer, choreographer, DJ, and vintage fashionista. For four years, Lainey taught weekly group classes and private lessons at You Should Be Dancing Studios in Manhattan. As a teacher, she emphasizes connection to your partner, solid fundamentals, proper body mechanics, and movement inspired by the feel of the music. Her mission: To help you find your own voice and creativity on the dance floor while building body awareness skills. As a competitor, Lainey has placed in a number of contests: 1st in the 2018 Intrepid Battle of the Big Bands Strictly, 1st in the 2017 Midwest Lindy Fest Invitational Jack and Jill, and 3rd in the 2018 Open Classic Strictly at California Balboa Classic. As a performer, she's entertained audiences at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Rainbow Room, and the Edison Ballroom. Lainey's classes will be held on 26 Aug and 2 Sep (Monday) , 730pm to 9pm .
