Lindy Hop Workshop w Josh & Emma September 12, 2026 at the Hut in Santa Fe

REGISTRATION LINK: https://forms.gle/546sBVpFGDp2y84cA DESCRIPTION Join us for an afternoon of Lindy Hop workshop lessons at The Hut in Santa Fe! Josh & Emma will teach all lessons. SCHEDULE: 12:00pm-1:00pm - Lindy Lesson 1 - Fine Tune Your Swing Out - Beginner friendly, but also worthwhile for experienced dancers! If you've already learned the steps of a swing out, but find it hard to execute successfully in social dance settings, this class is for you! Having a solid foundation in triple steps and familiarity with 8-count rhythmic patterns will help you get the most out of this class. 1:15pm-2:15pm - Lindy Lesson 2 - Swing Outs with Turns - Intermediate level. If you take the 12pm class, you'll be set up for success in this hour. We'll work on adding turns to our swing outs, including connected inside & outside turns for follows, underarm turns for leads, and free turns. 2:30pm-3:30pm - Lindy Lesson 3 - Alternative 8-count shapes - Intermediate/Advanced level. We'll play with some fun 8-count shapes outside of the swing out to get you ready to dance through entire songs in 8-count patterns! 3:30-4pm - Open Practice Time!
