Register here: lindyfest.org/registration Welcome back to Lindyfest 2023! After 3 years of cancellations and uncertainty, The Great Southwest Lindyfest is coming back!! Lindyfest with the Lone Star Championships is the largest and most dynamic Lindy hop event in Texas. This year marks the 24th installment of Lindyfest and the 13th Lone Star Championships! DANCE PASSES – The base ticket this year is our Dance Pass. In addition to the dances and watching competitions, this pass allows you the option to purchase classes and/or compete. TRACK AND ADD-ON CLASSES – Tracked Classes give you an 8-hour tailored learning experience. You'll stay with your track all weekend so you can get to know others in your track and learn and grow together! Add-On Classes allow you to choose your own learning adventure. They don't overlap, so you can do as much or as little as you like. All from some of the best dance instructors in the world! PERFORMANCES – Represent your city/group in our performances on Thursday night. CROSSOVER DRAW CONTEST – Back this year, the winners of the Open Draw contests will participate in a crossover draw contest with some of our international instructors! MORE CONTESTS – We have a few new contests including some free-to-enter late-night contests that we can't wait to tell you more about! GROUPED TRACK PLACEMENTS – Like our previous years, we’re putting a big investment into track placements so they’ll be relatively painless for you and more accurate for everyone. VINO AND VINYL – Rejuvenate at our vino and vinyl. Listen to amazing jazz songs that you might not hear on the dance floor. CULTURE AND COMMUNITY CHATS – We are excited to expand on our "Inside the Dancer's Studio" and discuss more in-depth the history, culture, and direction of where our community has been and where we can take it in the future. Look for this on the schedule Saturday and Sunday! LATE NIGHT SNACKS – No buffets for purchase this year. Expect free late-night snacks! THEMED LATE NIGHTS – Dress to impress during our live band sets Friday and Satruday evenings and then get ready for a wardrobe change and themed nights for our late-night events! SUNDAY HOUSE PARTY – We're gonna get it on Sunday night with 50s/60s soul and r&b to kick off the house party, then bring it home with everything from funk to hip hop! Welcome back to Lindyfest 2023! Lindyfest is all about community. We've worked hard since our last event to create an event that brings everyone together after such a long hiatus! We hope our changes to the structure and feel of the event build community in our classes, contests, and overall event. Can’t wait to see you in March – it's been too long! See you in Houston soon!
