Little Lindy 9: Grace & Tomasz

This May, the wonderful Grace, all the way from Tulsa, Oklahoma (US), will be joining Tomasz for another Little Lindy workshop weekend! This time the event is a collaboration with Jazz Like That, but like in previous editions, the focus is on experienced Lindy Hop dancers. Register: littlelindyix.dancecamps.org ---SCHEDULE--- -SATURDAY- 11:00 - 14:30 Intermediate level (with 30 min break) 16:00 - 18:00 Invitational level Part 1 -SUNDAY- 11:00 - 14:30 Advanced level (with 30 min break) 16:00 - 18:00 Invitational level Part 2 Classes will be mainly in English, but Tomasz can translate into Polish if necessary. ---PRICES--- -Early Bird- (until 1st of May) 🐦 Intermediate:120 PLN Advanced: 120 PLN Intermediate & Advanced: 200 PLN Invitational*: 135 PLN Advanced & Invitational*: 215 PLN All of it: 250 PLN -Later Bird- Intermediate:135 PLN Advanced: 135 PLN Intermediate & Advanced: 230 PLN Invitational*: 135 PLN Advanced & Invitational*: 230 PLN All of it: 250 PLN ---LEVELS--- You may register for multiple levels, and you may do it in a single or different dance roles. -Intermediate- You have some experience in Lindy Hop - you have most likely completed one or two semester courses and you are comfortable with 6 count figures (passes, tuck turn, send out), and you've encountered and learned mutliple 8 count figures - in particular you can Swing Out. -Advanced- You dance Lindy Hop fluidly, and we expect that your swing outs are solid, and that you are comfortable improvising within the dance. *-Invited- You can sign up for this level by invitation only: we will be sending out invitations for the invited level until the end of April, if you wish to participate in this level you can write to us. This level is intended for local instructors and dancers of similar level. Please only register for Invited if you have been invited; invitations will go out until the end of April, if you feel you are qualified for this level you may write to us and we will consider inviting you ---ABOUT GRACE--- Grace grew up with swing music and has always enjoyed it. She was first exposed to the dance when her sister let her tag along to a local social dance, where she instantly fell in love with it. She was unable to pursue the dance until her senior year of high school, when she jumped in, going to any local dance she could find. On days that didn’t have dances, she practiced at home by herself. She started attending regional, national, and international events where her hunger for the dance grew and continues to grow to this day. Grace advanced quickly and started teaching within her first year of dancing. Since then, she has grown her teaching from small local events to regional and international. She loves seeing people grow as they learn this dance. Focusing on connection, Grace teaches techniques that help dancers be versatile and creative so they can dance with anyone.
