A Nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, EMA's first project was mobilizing emergency community response during the Winter Storm Uri, when power and supply chains went down for a week. EMA delivered 1000's of hot meals directly to the doors of vulnerable community members, focusing on BIPOC and elder support. EMA then grew the EMA ATX Urban Garden Network, growing food to give away to people experiencing food insecurity, especially in Austin's Eastside food deserts. Out of this work, EMA developed the Foster a Community Garden Project, helping people in Austin and around the world start seeds and plant food to give away to those in need. These are just a few of EMA's projects. EMA amplifies Eco-conscious Musicians, and has produced livestreams aired on partnered networks with millions of followers. Working with musicians from all over the world of all genres, EMA is growing a professional network and support system. EMA has been featured at SXSW, World Unity Week and many other international events. EMA's Educational Partner is The Sustainable Living Guide, creating impactful training for growing community sustainability through mutual aid projects. Eco-conscious Music Alliance founder, Lisa Pavati, started Living Earth Circle 30 years ago and the transformational performance art ensemble has included 100's of amazing singers, musicians and dancers. It's current incarnation is a dynamic world-rhythms dance band, featuring Lisa on vocals, percussion and crystal singing bowls, along with original Living Earth Circle member, world-touring flute player Samantha Goldberg, of Mazel Tov Kocktail Hour! The group has grown to include a truly epic convergence of diverse musicians: Austin Samba assistant director Clark Richards, Hip-Hop/R&B percussionist Michael McDaniel and Gord Schultz on their original cajon-based eclectic drum set.
