About this Event

The Nashville Tango Club, the Nashville Dance Congress, and The Vanderbilt Tango Club are combining efforts to bring the Mariano Barreiro Tango Trio to Nashville. Mariano is one of the foremost tango pianists in tango today, having performed and recorded with some of the best tango musicians in Argentina, including Horacio Romo, Pablo Agri, Horacio Cabarcos, and more. His trios under his own name and that of Tango BC have been recognized in the United States and Europe on international tours, and have been the featured orchestra for Red Carpet Tango Festival in Las Vegas and for the Tango World Championships in San Francisco (and will be again this year). Touring with Mariano Barreiro Tango Trio is Mariano Barreiro on piano, Santiago Cursach on guitar, and Charles Gorczynski on bandoneon. Milonga with the Mariano Barrerio Tango Trio is being scheduled for Sunday March 18 at Casa Azafran, 8:30-11:30pm. Admission $15.
