LIVE MUSIC, LESSON and MILONGA with DJ

Thursday, June 4. Juan Villarreal will teach a lesson of Chacarera - a traditional, fast-paced Argentine folk dance known as a rural counterpart to Tango. He will then play and sing two sets of live music. Juan is a singer, guitarist, composer, and apart of one of the most recognized duos in the tango scene in Buenos Aires and the world. Together with his partner Patricio Crom, he has embarked on countless tours across Latin America, Europe, and North America. They have released multiple albums and were featured on the cover of “Tangodanza,” the world’s most widely circulated tango magazine. Our DJ tonight will be Meredith Klein. She will delight us with her excellent tandas. 7:00 pm: - Chacarera lesson with Juan Villarreal. 8:15 pm: - Milonga with DJ Meredith Klein. 8:45 pm: - First live music set with Juan Villarreal.
