His artistry emphasizes ensemble interplay and the physicality of making music, often combining bass and melodic roles into a single instrument with custom electronics. He is an active collaborator, director, and educator creating work that connects tradition with experimentation. Danced to a wide range of tempos, the music is traditionally big band Swing from the golden era of Jazz. Improvisation and rhythmical play are tied to Lindy Hop’s styling and spirit.
