LiveWire March 7th - DJ Night

💃 LiveWire returns to the Anza club for another fabulous DJ night, with fusion music to your heart's content. This month we are introducing Jerry Hamburgers Young as our resident dance teacher! Jerry is a favorite teacher around Vancouver, who is passionate about sharing blues and fusion technique with the community. He will be teaching an INTERMEDIATE lesson, suitable for anyone who's been dancing a few months or a few years. For any first-time dancers in the crowd, Bex will lead a beginners' lesson on the other side of the room. Beginners (and observers) are always welcome! No partner required. The Anza is a 19+ venue with beer and a nice wooden dance floor and comfy booths to sit in. (Please no bare feet or socks.) 7:30 PM: Doors are open! 8:00 - 9:00: Intermediate Blues/Fusion Dance Lesson by Jerry Hamburgers Young of DOSE Sessions 8:00 - 9:00: First-time dancer lesson by Bex Winnick 9:00 - 11:30: Dance! Extra money we bring in will be used to hire more inspiring musicians for future events, and to help pay the various musicians, DJs and organizers. LiveWire is a monthly event that aims to bring in live music acts as often as possible. The better attendance we get on our DJ nights, the more money we can save up to hire a band for next time!
