London Salsa Workshop with Jared AE

I have the opportunity to host a 3-hour Salsa workshop in London with Jared AE. This workshop is for both leaders and followers and will explore how "less is more" on the social dance floor. This is a non-profit workshop and will take place at the Academy Mews in Camden Town and will cost £10 per person. Jared learned to dance from a guy named John - a Philly local with practically no YouTube presence. He was a dance addict... like the rest of us... and had some pretty strange ways of teaching things that Jared - to this day - finds incredibly helpful. This is what Jared wants to share. What will be covered: - Doing less when you dance - Strucutre of dance as a language (letters, words, sentences, concepts, conversation) - Anchoring How will it be covered: - Discussion (30 mins) - Activity (2 hours, requiring blindfold, chopsticks, raw eggs and tomatoes) - Open practice (30 minutes) What people will take away: - A new way to think about their existing toolbox - Getting things to work better during social dance We look forward to seeing you there.
