No partner necessary, we'll rotate and make new friends! JOIN THE WORLDWIDE SWING COMMUNITY! Learn the style of Swing born in Harlem during the 1920s/30s and influenced by the Charleston, the Black Bottom and other dances of the twenties. We'll cover partnering, rhythm and lead-follow techniques and will focus on 6-count patterns perfect for social dancing! Come ready for a great workout and a fun day! LOCATION: 375 Dance Studio 375 Westbury Ave, Carle Place, NY 11514 Parking is available in the studio parking lot, and on Sundays there's typically plenty of space on the street as well. *Please be kind to the neighbors and do not block their driveways.* AFTERPARTY: Everyone is always invited to our LISS post-class afterparty at a TBA location (always within just a 5 min drive from the studio) - please join us for snacks, drinks, chats, and more dancing!
