One last time this year swimming in the sea, walking around in the nature, going on a speed boat trip around the islands hoping for a dolphin encounter, exploring the peninsula Murter starting 200m from the hotel, shooting beautiful pics under a huge amazing waterfall and much more. She is a MAC-certified Brazilian Zouk Instructor. Besides Zouk, Maria is also dancing Kizomba, Bachata, and Salsa. She started her Zouk journey in 2018 in Chernihiv with her local teachers INNA & YAROSLAV INDIK, who are Ukrainian Jack & Jill (JnJ) champions. She participated in various national and international classes and congresses in order to improve her technique. Maria took part in a variety of JnJ contests and took first place in couples JnJ in both Zouk and Bachata and third place in mixed Zouk JnJ in Ukraine. In 2022 Maria took part in the MAC program - which is the most comprehensive Teacher Training of Brazilian Zouk in the world developed by Alex de Carvalho, who's a Zouk legend with more than 27 years of experience in this dance worldwide. Over the course of one year she studied Zouk in detail and passed the MAC evaluation - practical and theoretical exam in Brazilian Zouk in Paris and now is a officially MAC-approved Brazilian Zouk teacher. Maria is really passionate about Zouk and believes in constant learning, self-improving, and expressing herself through dancing. She's looking forward to sharing her Zouk knowledge. GUIDO ASCHENBRENNER ======================= is international dance instructor and also Vienna's first local Zouk teacher and organizer. He started dancing ballroom at the age of 16, also participating in shows already in his first year. Later he discovered Latin dances such as Salsa, Bachata and others, before he got fascinated by Brazilian ZOUK, which he has been dancing since 2010 and teaching since 2011. Since 2014 he also dances Samba de Gafieira, which he is also teaching irregularly as of 2016. Guido has learnt from all important Zouk/Gafieira teachers across the globe in Europe and Brazil in group and private classes as well as numerous special teacher trainings in group and private setting, partly in Brazil, where he was also teaching as congress instructor. Guido always keeps up to date by attending congresses and traveling to Brazil (already 9 times by 2023). His latest stay included a 3 weeks immersion at the famous dance school of Daniel, Matheus & Nina in CAMPINAS, SP, Brazil. The teachers influencing his dance style most significantly are world-famous stars Freddy MARINHO & Andressa CASTELHANO, William TEIXEIRA & Paloma ALVES, Val CLEMENTE & Vanessa BONILHA, Matheus FRANCO & Nina DARBELLO, Marck SILVA & Melyssa TAMADA, Clinton LACERDA & Cristi BOONE and many more. A significant increase of the Zouk scene in Vienna happened thanks to Guido's initiative: Starting in 2011 he was the first one making the important step to teach weekly classes and to organize weekly socials in Austria as well as regular workshop weekends with famous guest teachers (predominantly from Brazil) in Vienna. He is founder of the yearly events RIO ZOUK (& SAMBA) WEEKEND and MEGA ZOUK & SAMBA WEEKEND and has organized numerous smaller events. Overall, he has already brought almost all big teachers to Vienna for workshops, festivals and also for longer-term stays. Guido is the founder of ZOUK-VIENNA CONNECTION, an association in Austria specifically dedicated to ZOUK and other Brazilian dances working closely with other Brazilian organizations and Brazilian artists. As a former member of the International Zouk Flash Mob Management Team (IZFM MT) he also worked to serve the Zouk scene worldwide for several years. Recently he also started creating Zouk remixes as "DJ Guido Zoukeiro" and playing on various international events. His very latest specialty is LIVE re-mixing of songs with the Zouk beat and other beats. Guido not only knows Zouk / dance technique in the greatest detail, but also works a lot with intuition, connection, body and soul interdependence, energy, preparing the body for movement and spirituality.
