Good Room presents... Love Games with François K Lauren Murada & Finn Jones + Spicy Boys b2b Loop de Loop All Night Long in the Bad Room A party where disco never died and love saves the day, Love Games returns to Good Room on January 11. The party will feature special guest François K playing alongside party residents Lauren Murada & Finn Jones in the main room plus Spicy Boys and Loop de Loop going back to back in the Bad Room. This night is a sea goat special, celebrating the birthdays of François, Lauren, Ben Steidel (Spicy Boys) and Foos (Loop de Loop). François K has been an invaluable member of the NYC dance music community since the 1970s. It's hard to sum up his contribution in one paragraph, but here we go... Over the years François has DJed at legendary clubs like Paradise Garage, Studio 54, The Loft, Zanzibar, Vinyl, Twilo, and The Sound Factory Bar. His own parties Body & Soul and Deep Space became equally as legendary in the 90s and 2000s. He started his career in the studio mixing records for the pivotal disco label Prelude in the 70s and by the 80s he became one of the most in-demand remixers and producers. Over the years he's worked with artists like Larry Levan, Madonna, The Cure, Diana Ross, Mick Jagger, the list goes on. Between all of that, he's toured the world countless times, started his own label Wave Music, and his own booking agency Forward Management. Lauren Murada and Finn Jones will be on warm up for François, playing disco, house, funk rock, and soul jams. Over in the Bad Room we have a special b2b between Spicy Boys and Loop de Loop with Ben Steidel, Tommy Castro, and Foos behind the decks. Three staples of the Brooklyn scene, they have spent more than two decades of collecting vinyl, so we know their collections run deep! **Good Room is a safe space for all people.
