We are opening the LOVE infinite and holding space for authentic interpersonal reflections for our annual Sacred container at the Emerald Palace. We will open the Veil-in-Time once again, to invigorate our blissful mind, body, spirit connections. You are invited to create & maintain this safe space through expressions of love as we open into the possibilities that have felt limiting in our lives. It's time to connect fully to who we are and LOVE IT FORWARD into ourselves and then all areas of our lives, friends, family, communities, ChiKaGo & world. This has been transformational for the community since 2009 when our intention was that we “will be revitalizing our heart chakras, grounding our past emotions, clearing our communication space, & aligning us together for the future.” Let’s explore our sensual authenticity in an environment of respect, consent, and adoration. Diane Berrios is an international performing artist/educator born and raised in Chicago,IL. For the past 18 years, her passion stemming from her Afro/Latin Caribbean dance roots has paved a unique path of performance and education with travels throughout the North, Central, South America and the Caribbean. Her cultural depiction through performing arts, workshops and costume design is showcased through her label, Chi-Caribena Designs. In recent years, she has evolved into a story teller. As an elemental dancer, Sirène uses water, fire, air, and earth as props for her dance pieces. Andrea is Master Teacher certified in Reiki and Chios Energy Healing, and a Spiritual Intuitive. Andrea utilizes a blend of practices and wisdom including Reiki, Chios, shamanic/indigeonous ways of healing and wellness, sound/vibration (drumming, singing bowls, shanti/koshi chimes), crystals/stones, herbs and more. We discover together, celebrate, and find choice, connection, and freedom to live love. Jane is a mom of three teenagers, a 300-hour certified yoga teacher with extensive international living, traveling and teaching experience. She speaks 5 languages and has traveled to over 20 countries. Jane has led tour groups across international learning journeys, and sees how cross-cultural experiences have fostered her passion for peace-building practices.. She has over 30 days of official training in NVC, as well as hundreds of practice group hours and some trusted NVC mentors. Some of the practices of my background are yoga, acro-yoga, flow and fire play, aerial dance, ecstatic dance, contact improv, ballroom dance, Viewpoints, Michael Chekhov, clown, massage therapy, and team-building through group game play. She will be leading a variety of group exercises centered around "the 5 love languages" on Saturday night to inspire deeper connection amongst the community.
