Join Monarch Yoga & Love Portal for an evening of dancing, sound healing, and community on February, 25th 2023 6-8:30PM! .:: Love Portal ::. Love Portal is a nomadic alcohol-free dance party, sound healing, and community gathering focused on turning yoga, wellness, and community spaces into loving, safe, fun, expressive containers. The event will start with an opening circle followed by a dance party and closing with a restorative Sound Healing. The DJ plays an array of electronic music styles from ambient, downtempo, tribal, world, house, and more allowing attendees to move their bodies to different tempos & rhythmic structures while steadily building the collective group energy over the duration of the set. The event then seamlessly transitions into a restorative Sound Healing to close the night leaving everyone feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. .:: Event Flow ::. 5:45-6 PM: Arrival 6-6:30 PM: Opening Circle 6:30-8 PM: Ecstatic Dance 8-8:30 PM: Sound Healing .:: About the Creator ::. Nicholas Hockley aka Nah Mean? is a Yogi, IASH Certified Sound Healer, DJ, Music Producer, and creator of Love Portal. He is passionate about creating spaces for individuals to reach expanded states of consciousness through sound & dance to connect to their Higher Self. This allows attendees to heal their physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. He has nearly a decade of DJ experience & draws inspiration from Ancient India & Mesoamerican cultures & calls upon wisdom from Hindu, Sufi, Taoist, and Buddhist philosophies among others. .:: Important Details ::. ⪼ Location: Monarch Yoga, 171 W Berks St, Philadelphia, PA 19122 ⪼ Arrival: 5:45-6:00 PM: Please arrive on time (before 6:00 PM) or you may be locked out for the opening circle! ⪼ Duration: 6 - 8:30 PM ⪼ Important Note: Please wear clothes that you can move freely & comfortably in! .:: What to Bring::.
