*** FRIDAY 28th JUNE!! *** ** One of the BEST value for money events in the South West!! ** We welcome you back to join us once again at The Southbank Club, Bristol for our amazingly friendly and atmospheric monthly social party 'Love4Salsa' :) We have a double whammy for you at this months party lovely peeps! We have a fantastic couple as our guest teachers AND we also have a guest DJ to spin the decks :) This month our FREE class at the beginning of the night will be in the wonderful dance of BACHATA with 3 levels available to choose from! Our guest teachers who will be taking the higher level class are Fernando Hernandez and his partner Aroa. Fernando incorporates Sensual and Dominican energy. Fernando was born in Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican republic, and Finalist of Bachata Stars U.K, experienced sensual bachata for the first time when he arrived in London. He came so that he could learn from world renowned dancers, and have access to some of the biggest congresses in the U.K. Here he developed his style as a sensual bachata dancer. Since then he has been teaching and performing at Congresses and festivals around U.K. Namely the Bristol Salsa Congress and The All You can dance festival based in Reading. Aroa was born in Barcelona, Spain. She has been dancing Salsa and Bachata for over 8 years. At the Age of 11 she started dancing ballet, falling in love later on with Salsa and Bachata. She joined to Recchia Danza dance company in 2011, and performed in different Salsa Congress and Latin Dance events. She has being attending numerous dance congress and workshops having the opportunity to learn from international dancers including Adrian y Anita, Johny Vazquez, Daniel&Desiree and more! Our fantastic weekly Mondays instructor Charlie Webb will take the lower level class for those just starting out in Bachata and myself (Darran Brady) will be taking the mid level class for those that already have a good understanding of Bachata. After the classes we will party until midnight with a mixed DJ set from myself and our guest DJ with some funky and fun animations thrown in for good measure ;) I'm very happy to introduce our special guest DJ for this month is the magnificent Eddie Hunt! We will once again have the immense pleasure of dancing to Eddies remarkable music as he plays a 2 hour set for us! Eddie is loved for his ability to keep dancers on the floor all night long with his selection of great music while djing... he is a resident DJ at some of the UKs biggest Salsa festivals along with party nights for Abanico Salsa, the Saturday Shingalings which is an all vinyl night and most notably his continued requests to DJ at some of Paris's biggest Salsa clubs! So come along lovely peeps of the South West and join us in what will be an electrifying social party :) The night will consist of the following: Doors open @ 7:45pm FREE Bachata classes (3 Levels) @ 8:10pm Social party form 9:15pm til Midnight Cost: £8 ALL night!
