*** FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER!! *** ** One of the BEST value for money events in the South West! ** This month we host a local favourite on the Salsa dance scene who has travelled far and wide teaching, performing, and increasing his skill set all the while... Alex (The Hat) Fright! Alex has an infectious energy and a genuine care for all his students, which comes across in his teaching. He trains with the world’s top salsa dancers including learning both Eddie Torres/Adolfo Indacochea and Santa Rico/Yamulee styles, having been teaching since 2007 but never stopping developing as a dancer. He’s performed locally and internationally with the Adolfo/MamboCity and Alma de Pexava Semi-Pro teams, and choreographed a fun and musical choreography for his Bristol student showgroup, which toured throughout the UK. Alex teaches with a special emphasis on leading and following technique to rapidly improve his students’ dancing, whilst maintaining the fun and laughs his classes are known for. “For me, teaching salsa is not a job - it’s my passion. My aim is to help dancers of all levels advance to the best of their abilities.. and to have fun while we’re doing it!” Also joining myself will be the wonderful Stephanie on the door to give everyone a warm welcome and no doubt a laugh to get you in the mood. Charlie will be helping with the teaching in the classes and also his amazing set up of the Bachata/Kizomba room. We will also continue with the help of DJ Petar in the Bachata/Kizomba room who will bring his unique flavor and vibe! Join us for what is always a fun, friendly and electrifying night of social dancing :) The night will consist of the following: Doors open @ 7:45pm FREE Salsa class (3 Levels) @ 8:10pm Social party form 9:15pm til Midnight Cost: £8 ALL night!
