𝟰 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 + 𝟯 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗮𝗺 ✨ ✨ ✨ For three days, we will move together through the deep terrains of contact improvisation, somatics, instant composition, and the ever-unfolding question: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝘀? We will research the threads that shape form before it becomes form. We will let ourselves be guided by gravity, by the unsaid, by the collective intelligence of the unknown. As students of the Aletheia Integral Unfoldment program, Jana and Nikola are bringing “poetic attunement” into the dance space. “𝗣𝗼𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” refers to a way of connecting with the world, yourself, and others through heightened awareness and emotional sensitivity, focusing on the subtleties of experience. It involves a love for beauty, truth, and goodness, reflecting a profound sensitivity to these essential values. After three days of deep study, we open the doors. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗷𝗮𝗺. Continuation and integration. An invitation to allow what has been stirred to continue unfolding. ✨ ✨ ✨ 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮 Dance artist, teacher, art producer, and somatic practitioner. With a background as an athlete and runner, my way into the field of dance went through the practices of instant composition and contact improvisation. I trained at the School of New Dance in Freiburg, completing my studies in Dance, Improvisation, and Performance. My work is informed by diverse somatic and movement practices, Body-Mind Centering®, the Feldenkrais Method®, the Axis Syllabus, Ideokinesis, and the Skinner Releasing Technique and martial arts (kung-fu). I see dance as an inherently relational practice coming from within and I orient my work to let the inner find its expression and relation to the outer, other. Important teachers that shaped my way are among others, Alex Guex, Anya Cloud, Charlie Morrissey, Kirstie Simson, David Zambrano, Frey Faust, Emma Rose Bige, João Fiadeiro, Robie Legros Štěpánková, Bettina Neuhaus. I am currently studying the Aletheia integral unfoldment coaching program, which greatly informs my dance and teachings. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰 My background is based on diverse studies of somatic, trauma-informed, and holistic healing practices. I’m a certified Feldenkrais Method and somatic coach. Contact Improvisation has been my primary practice for many years. My passion is the architecture of learning spaces – containers where learning and growth happen naturally.
