Opening 2020, Houston is honored to host this amazing and expert performer and tango instructor from Buenos Aires, Argentina - Luciano Capparelli. Luciano has scheduled the following workshops: TANGO SALON Friday March 13, 7:00-9:00 PM Workshop 1 Tango - (Footwork) Movements to get fun in the dance floor. Little secuence to flow. Workshop 2 Tango - (Embrace, inside felling) The importance of the connection; how to connect with your partner to have a soft and smooth dance. Saturday March 14, 2:00-5:00 PM Workshop 1 Tango - (Giros, Pivots, Enrosques) Combining four of the most iconics movement in tango to flow in the dance floor. Leader and follower technique and execution. Workshop 2 Vals - (Chains, Alteraciones, Pasadas) Connecting severals steps to make them look just like one. The simplicity to challenge us to give our maximum. Workshop 3 Milonga - Technique, musicality and foot work. Workshop 2 [5:10-6:00 PM] Making sharp secuences to shine on the stage. The art of create a choreography. *Early-Bird Cost: $150 per couple (2 hours). At the door: $170 per couple. Luciano is also available for privates March 10th to the 16th. Luciano Capparelli has a long experience in the Tango escenario being an outstanding dancer in world famous tango companies such as “Tango Fire”, “Mora Godoy Tango Company” and participating in world known tango musicals such as “Corazón de Tango”, “Color Tango Buenos Aires”, “Tango Buenos Aires”, and playing main role in “Chantecler, Tango Show” and in the world success “Tanguera, the Argentinian Tango Musical”, touring around the five continents during more than 15 years. Luciano has worked with renowned dancers, teachers, artistic directors and artists such as Guillermo Fernandez, Jorge Rojas, Los Nocheros, Juan Carlos Baglieto, Lito Vitale, Juan Carlos Copes, Maria Nieves, Amelita Baltar, Nacha Guevara, Milena Plebs, Mora Godoy Natalia Hills, Francisco Forquera, Diego Romay, Omar Pacheco, Mario and Daniel Celario, Carlos Perez, Rosa Forte among others. He has also won various tango competitions, participated in “Tango Secrets Festival” for some years and even performed in the Olympic Games opening in 2018. His long expertise as a dancer and instructor has made him work in important tango houses in Buenos Aires, such as “La Viruta”, “Villa Malcom”, “Italia Unita Salon”, “Salón Canning”, “Porteño y Bailarín”, “El Fulgor de Villa Crespo”, “El Bidou de las luces”, “Esquina Homero Manzi”, “Casablanca”, “El Querandí”, “Café Tortoni”, “Señor Tango”, the famous and recognized “Esquina Carlos Gardel”, “Teatro Porteño” and “Piazzolla Tango” (where is currently working). In 2019 he toured around USA; giving workshops of tango salon and stage tango and coaching couples for differets competitions, and now we have such a privilege having him in Houston as a part of his USA Tour 2020.
