This is a full circle moment for me as Kristine Urban aka SōL KiSS will be playing. She helped me get these Colorado Springs Ecstatic Dances started and she was putting on such wonderful dance events here in springs! She really showed me what was possible and I wanted to bring her out to play and see what we have been up to. Born in the name of love, SōL KiSS spins sun-drenched melodies, tribal percussion, and undulating bass into a living tapestry of sound. Each set is a ritual of intention - turning the dance floor into sacred ground where hearts open, hips ignite, and magic unfolds. Breathe in sunrises, exhale sunsets, and feel the rays kiss your skin as you move in your most radiant, authentic self. Together we root, rise, and expand the U-n-I-verse; one beat, one breath, one boundless groove. Join us for a special Prasad Ceremony, a gathering rooted in the ancient Sanskrit word that means "grace" or "offering." In many spiritual traditions, prasad is a sacred food offering made to a divine presence and then shared among the community. This is a beautiful way to nourish our bodies, minds, and spirits in connection with our community. The preparation of prasad is a mindful, creative act, and the sharing of it is an act of communal grace and connection. It reminds us that what we consume can be a source of both sustenance and spiritual well-being. At our ceremony, we will share simple, beautiful vegetarian foods that have been prepared and blessed with love and intention. We will engage in a short, guided meditation to focus our gratitude and then share the offering together in a peaceful, communal setting. We have also added a Crystal Reiki Soundbath and Evocation from Dante of KarmicWares! Really looking forward to such a ceremonious gathering :) Bring your instruments!
