Maria Jose was born in Mendoza, Argentina. She started Tango dancing with professional teachers in Mendoza and then travelled to Buenos Aires to learn with the best Tango instructors, including: Ricardo Barrios y Eugenia Ramirez, Vanina Bilous, Mario Burnissen, Aurora Lubiz y Jorge Firpo, Milena Plebs, Pablo Veron, Melina Brufman, Nito and Elva, Facundo and Kely, to name a few.
Today teaches at NYCityTango school every Saturday.
