Magic Barridas ~ at Bienvenida Milonga

Join us for the fun challenge of barridas ~ also called "drags" ~ in which one dancer sweeps their partner's foot along the floor to a new location. These super-cool, sometimes strange, sometimes beautiful moves require some collaboration, and the more you know, they more you can create together! I love barridas: dancing them, teaching them, being surprised by them on the dance floor. We'll explore some cool, easy ways to find the most-danced barridas, and some less-common barridas involving crosses – all of them very satisfying. (Zero barridas are depicted in the tiny illustrations at the top of this invite.
