About this Event
Culturefest celebrates the diversity of the neighbors in Mahogany and communities in the deep South of Calgary. This our one year anniversary of the goup Latinos in Mahogany and we invite all our neighbours to celebrate Latin culture and Diversity with Food Trucks, vendors and cultural performers and dancing. We moved from Mahogany Orange Park to Mahogany Beach Club Outdoor Rink on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, from 12 noon to 5pm.
Food Trucks Arepa Ranch, Mi Ranchito, Empanadas Queen, Ice Cream; Food vendors Pio Peru Restaurant, Cocina Chilena with Gladys, Cotton Candy and Shace Ice and Venezuelan Desserts.
Artisan vendors;
Face Painting;
Music with DJ Henry, Mariachi Band and Banda Sinaloense directly from Mexico, Rapper Rolo Pdla from Chile and Cassandra la Voz;
Bilingual French children show by Isabelle la Wonderful;
Tryzub Ukranian Dancers, Chinese Lion Dance, M&D Academy of Dance, Brazilian Samba Queen Paula, Montuno Dance Academy, Abhivyakti Indian dance school, Asi es Colombia Dancers, Raices del Peru Dancers, Tambores Venezolanos Dance with clara Mata, Salsa y Zumba Dance with Alexis y Clara, Marakame Mexican Dance and Art Assn., En L'air Academy Of Dance And Aerial (Acrobats) and so much more!
