Our Home Base will be Mountain View CA Mambonova is proud to announce that Michelle Castro, Co director of world champions, PB&G Productions and the SF Intl Salsa Congress, will be training and co-directing our performance teams ( Nova and Mambonova Evolusion ) We are looking for dancers of all levels for our professional, semi-professional, amateur, and On2 training teams. We are looking for dancers with enthusiasm, commitment, positive attitudes and desire to work hard. At MamboNova Dance Co, we work hard, but also know how to take the time to enjoy what we love. Without this, we would be losing out on one of the biggest reasons we dance Through our dance company you will improve your skills & learn to be a better leader/follower under the direction of one of the Bay Area's Top Performers & Instructors: Hector Reyes & Michelle Castro. MAMBONOVA DANCE COMPANY'S objective is to give dancers who want to learn or take dance to the next level, adequate technical training and opportunities to perform their art on stage or on the dance floor . MamboNova is for those who want to improve their social dancing skills as well as those who want to perform. We will be accepting dancers of all levels, for all teams*: TRAINING TEAM 1 and STUDENT TEAM. No formal audition is required, but you must show up on the audition date to discuss your desired goals. *Open to all dance levels, however space is very limited Because space is limited it is really impotrant to show up, so that we can see how serious you are about taking your dancing to the next level. BEGINNER (TRAINING TEAM) no experience is required STUDENT PERFORMANCE TEAM, dancers, must know the basics of On 2 dancing SEMI-PRO, PRO dancers must already be On2 dancers with extensive experience performing Attire for Auditions: Wear comfortable clothing, sports gear preferably. (NO JEANS, NO SKIRTS) If available, bring your dance shoes or jazz shoes. Format: 1) Quick warm-up 2) Dancers learn footwork and an improvised combination. 3) Dancers will be evaluated on timing, performance, and ability to learn a routine.
