Cecilia Gonzalez & Jake Spatz: Workshops | Performance | Milonga Qilombo We’re very happy to be able to welcome back Cecilia Gonzalez, one of the most respected dancers of her generation, for the first time since 2019. She’ll be partnered by Jake Spatz for a great weekend of workshops and a special Milonga Qilombo with DJ Jorge Fernandez and a performance by Cecilia & Jake. Don’t miss it! Saturday, March 29 8:30-9:30 pm: Pre-milonga workshop - Revisiting the Cross - Cecilia & Jake 9:30 pm-1 am: Milonga Qilombo with DJ Jorge Fernandez with a performance by Cecilia & Jake Sunday, March 30 1-2:15 pm: Retro Tango - Cecilia & Jake 2:30-3:45 pm: Boleos & Sacadas - Cecilia & Jake Stay afterwards to practice at our weekly practica, Bailongo de los domingos. The pre-milonga class requires at least beginner tango experience. The Sunday workshops will be taught at a solid intermediate/advanced level.
