Friday night dance waves are back! Let's bring the special energy that Friday night has back to the dance floor! The first Friday of every month we will be doing an extended 1.5 hour dance wave with both AMC facilitators and local DJ's. These waves may be a bit more experimental and variate from our typical Sunday waves, though the essence of the wave will remain. There is an immense power in feeling the grief and melancholy for what has been lost, and even what is dreamed of that may never be. As so much has been lost over the last two years, and there is so much longing in the world today, let us dance this place of depth, and let us dance to the other side of celebration. But let us bring the power of that depth with us. About Wren: As a DJ and dance facilitator I view dance as a form of Jedi Music Appreciation through which the dancer opens themselves as a conduit for the music to express through. In essence, "the dancer" gets out of the way and allows themselves to be danced. My genius shines when guiding people into their willingness to play, engage, connect, and push edges. I anticipate and celebrate a world where the cultivation of mindbody and emotional intelligence is paramount in the continual revolution and rebirth of how we live, work and relate.
