Join us at the Madison Circus Space for a month of swing dancing instruction! 6:30-7:45PM: Level 1 - Charleston Fundamentals Location: Lower Studio Prerequisites: None Instructor(s): Kate and Noah Cost: $40 The Charleston is the forerunner to Lindy Hop, characterized by the kicks that fit so well to early jazz. Come and dance with us as we introduce you to the footwork and the techniques to let your Charleston shine both solo and partnered– and don’t be afraid to get warm doing it! This class is a prerequisite for many other Jumptown classes. No partner or experience required. 8:00-9:00PM: Level 2 - Connection & Partnering Location: Lower Studio Prerequisites: 6-count Basics, 8-count Basics Instructor(s): Charity and Ian Cost: $40 In this Level 2 class, we'll explore how we commit to our connection and how we share the momentum with our partner.
