BIOGRAPHY - Marck Silva & Melyssa Tamada ===================================== The Brazilian Zouk and Lambazouk dancers and teachers from São Paulo, Marck & Melyssa, known by their versatility of styles and energetic way of dancing, begun their dance studies together three years ago, they competed as a couple in many Zouk competitions, Brazilian and International ones, achieving the podium in most of them, for example IV International Rio Zouk Competition - Professional 2018, International Zouk Congress São Paulo - Professional 2017 and 2018, and Brasil Zouk Open - Professional 2019. They also competed in São Paulo Jack&Jills, getting 1st place Marck 5 times and Melyssa 2 times. Their teachers that were a watershed in their dance are Bruna Kazakevic & Zé Roberto (Brazilian Zouk), David & Deywylla (Lambazouk) and Rafael Machado (all rhythms). They make part of Cia Okan, the 7 year old dance company that works with all kinds of dances directed by Rafael Machado. They gave classes at international Zouk congresses such as International Dance Congress São Paulo 2018 and Megazouk Congress Buenos Aires 2019, and have a big tour in Australia, Europe and Asia scheduled to the first semester of 2020, some countries that are already confirmed are Austria, Israel, Poland, Australia and Netherlands. Partners and friends, Marck & Melyssa want to show their art and provide people the happiness that dancing brings to themselves, through a mix of the original essence and the modern developments of Zouk. BIOGRAPHY – Luí Salton & Larissa Almeida ==================================== Luí and Larissa are two young teachers of Brazilian zouk from São Paulo. With an innovative and organic approach, they develop studies that contribute to the Brazilian zouk reach new levels. Studying dance for two since 2012 and in 2015 focused their specialization in Brazilian zouk and are partners since then. In addition to zouk, Luí and Larissa attend ballet and jazz classes. They were teachers at the Zouk Day Congress (2018 and 2019). Larissa was the youngest teacher in the history of this international event. Luí is an engineering student who uses math and physics to study Zouk-focused dance. Students and members of Cia Rubia Frutuoso since 2017. DJ BRIXX ========= DJ and Music Producer from Tel Aviv, Israel. BRIXX, Known as Brian Safdie, has been in the DJing and Music Producing industry since 2009. After a success of producing multiple Salsa remixes with over a million views on YouTube, he fell in love with the zouk world in 2015. As he dances various different Latin styles, once he fell in love with Zouk, the transition to DJing and producing Zouk Music was very fast and natural. In his live sets, he combines his own remixes unique remixes together with a full range of genres and music styles, in order to make the best live set suitable for each crowd. DJ MESMES (HU) =============== Mesmes is hopelessly in love with music and dancing since childhood. After dancing many-many dance styles and some years of salsa DJing, in 2013, she fell in love with Brazilian ZOUK! Since 2015, she organizes zouk parties in Budapest and plays as a zouk DJ. She plays many styles of zoukable music as she finds the best thing about zouk that it is so universal, so musical, and can go so deep! It gives the opportunity to experience a huge variety of feelings, dynamics, and rhythms on the dancefloor and an amazingly high level of connection! As a DJ, she likes to see dancers enjoying the moment and becoming one with music. She started to create remixes as well, and just released her first remix album: Echoes of Love ♡ Remix Album Release! by DJ Mesmes. His latest specialties are LIVE re-mixing of songs (adding Zouk-Beats creatively on the fly & while playing) as well as video-DJ-ing. DJ KAKAH =================== No introduction needed, I guess... Everyone who knows her loves Kakah and the music she is producing, remixing and playing. Also a great dancer, both lead and follow, but mostly lead!
