Coordinate with the artists directly this weekend for available times and location. *****Bio’s***** Marco Espejo Nuñez is a Peruvian dancer born in Trujillo (Perú) in 1988. In Perú he started to learn dance and music learning Peruvian folklor and playing the Saxo. When he was 18 years old, Marco moved to Huelva, Spain where he started to take lessons of latin rythyms. At the age of 21 years old, already in the capital of the country, Madrid, Marco starts to compete with his first official dance bachata partner, Elisa Toimil. Shortly after that, he won various regional competitions with Elisa García and they started to compete on the national level. In September 2012 Marco formed a partnership with Sara Panero and already that year won 2 national Bachata competitions and they created their own Bachata dance company called “Esencia”. In 2013 Marco and Sara became 4 times national champions of Bachata (Couple) and the following year (2014) national Runners-up with their dance company Esencia. Marco and Sara dissolved their partnership mid-2014 and then Marco began working with Marzia Licciardello, an Italian professional Bachata dancer. This partnership began his international expansion. In November 2014 they won the 1st place at the well-known contest ‘World Bachatart Fusion’. Mixing sensuality and his own style, he tries to continue creating new movements and this focus on originality is the main goal of his work. At the end of the year 2016, the couple Marco & Sara re-start their work together with the objective to be one of the most known couples in Sensual Bachata around the world with their own Bachata Style. Sara Panero is a Spanish dancer born in Salamanca (Spain) in 1993. Since the age of 7 she’s trained in various disciplines of dance such as ballet, contemporary dance, modern dance, hiphop. When she was 16 years old she began with the Latin dances, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. At just 18, and having finished her secondary education in her hometown, Sara took the entrance examination to the Conservatory of Dance Fortea (Madrid), to specialize in classical ballet. After passing this exam she moved to Madrid. Sara attended three years at the conservatory of dance while she worked and still studied Latin rhythms. She began with her first dance partner Ronald Jara competing and representing Madrid in Africadançar (Lisbon) in 2012. Months after that she entered at “Bachatea Dance Company” starting well as a group to compete in competitions at national level of Bachata. In September 2012 Sara formed a partnership with Marco Espejo and already that year won 2 national Bachata competitions and they created their own Bachata dance company called “Esencia”. In 2013 Marco and Sara became 4 times national champions of Bachata (Couple) and the following year (2014) national Runners-up with their dance company Esencia. In May 2014 Sara competed for the first time as a soloist in salsa footwork. In mid-2014 Sara and Marco ended dissolved their partnership and Sara was called for an audition and finally chosen to be part of the professional dance company of “Prince of Salsa” Johnnny Vazquez called “Imperio Azteca”;, so she moved to Milan (Italy) for 6 months. In March 2015 Sara returned to Spain and continued her solo choreographies and returned to cooperate with her ex Bachata group “Esencia”. In May 2015 Sara was presented as the new dance partner of Albir Rojas, and dived into to the world of Kizomba. “Albir & Sara” finished their collaboration in December 2016 to follow different paths. Sara focused on new projects and goals based on her unconditional love of dance. At the end of the year 2016, Marco & Sara re-start their work together with the objective of to be one of the most known couples in Sensual Bachata around the world with their own Bachata Style.
