Renowned for their exceptional methods of teaching Samba fundamentals and styling to students in Brazil and across the globe, they have also coached countless winning Samba Queens in São Paulo Carnaval. Don’t miss the chance to experience the infectious energy of classes with these two Samba master instructors! 11am - 1pm: Drills and Fundamentals - This workshop will focus on drilling Samba no Pé fundamentals including feet and arm placement, hips and overall technique. You will also learn some fun short sequences to different styles of Samba music. There will be a lot of repetition so you can really master the content delivered. Suitable for all levels 1:30pm - 3:30pm: Samba Queen Styling - This workshop will focus on styling like a queen. Work on entrance, presentation, grace, elegance, soft arms, beautiful poses, technique for pirouettes/turns and advanced sequences as well as working with breaks.
