It will be divided into two parts: technique and dance. The objective is to improve a better comprehension and to control the dance and its possibilities. Part 1 - PURA TECNICA - PURE TECHNIQUE Work in depth on individual and couple technique, taking a journey into fundamentals. 1 + 1/2 hr Leader and follower technique 1 + 1/2 hr Couples technique Part 2 - PURO BAILE - PURE DANCE A revision of the indispensable elements and applications, especially in a close embrace, designed for the dance floor and applying the technique worked in Part 1. Pablo Inza is considered to be one of the present day tango scene's most influential figures and has won respect worldwide for his innovative and creative style. Constantly "pushing the boundaries" of his tango, Pablo personal style is rich in contrasting dynamics and playful musicality. Frequently invited to some of the largest tango festivals in Europe and in North America, Pablo has been teaching and performing around the world since 1992. An excellent teacher with a great capacity for analysis and an innate sense of musicality, Pablo's classes are popular amongst dancers of all levels. Pablo also has an extensive background in contemporary dance as well as in the dramatic arts and has directed numerous theatre pieces since 2001. Pablo is director of the Cambalache Festival, a tango-theatre-dance festival held annually in Buenos Aires. He also runs the well-known "Practica X" one of Buenos Aires' most popular practicas. www.pabloinza.com Mariana Dragone is accomplished in various different dance forms, including classical ballet, contemporary dance and floklore. Known for her dynamic energy and fluid, sensual movements, Mariana is admired for her ability to adapt to different tango styles and is considered by many to be one of the top female tango dancers of our day. Mariana was first introduced to tango at the age of 16 in her native Rosario. Later, upon moving to Buenos Aires, she continued her studies with Graciela Gonzalez, Mingo Pugliese and Tete. In 1996, Mariana began a partnership wth Pedro "El Indio" Benavente. Known and appreciated for their Sunday shows in Plaza Dorrego, San Telmo, they also toured throughout Argentina, teaching and performing tango and Argentine floklore. Marian has since partnered with some of the biggest names of the tango world including the late Hernan Obispo, Chicho Frumboli and Miguel Angel Zotto amongst others. She has performed in numerous prominent tango shows and toured around the world, including a 45 city Japanese tour with the Orchesta "El Arranque" and various international tours with the dance company "Tango x 2" directed by Miguel Angle Zotto.
