She has participated in all editions of the International Cuban Dance Festival, Ritmo Cuba since it s foundation in 2016 and is catergorised as one of the best teachers that show the word the richness of Cuban Culture. She now runs Latinsalseando Australia based on the Gold Coast. Christina Monneron is regarded as the 'Godmother' of Cuban Dance in Australia. She is a multi award winning artist, with a career spanning decades. She is also the Director of Afrekete, Australia's premiere Afro-Cuban Dance and Music Festival, next festival being held at Amaroo on Mandalay, Nelly Bay Magnetic Island on 23-24-25 May 2025 weekend.
