It's official! Our beloved amazing dancers and teachers Martin & Maurizio will visit NYC for a weekend June 17-20, 2016! Don't miss them! Saturday and Sunday workshops @ Stepping Out Studios, Fri and Mon TBA, exclusive performance at Robin Thomas's Nocturne on Saturday, June 18th! REGISTRATION IS OPEN: WWW.TANGOFRS.COM WORKSHOPS: Exploring Contrasts in the Quest for Balance: Saturday, June 18th 2pm - 6:30pm (with a break in between) Density and lightness of motion. Playing rhythmical games to create moods. Applying these concepts in linear displacements and turns (giros). Sunday, June 19th 2pm - 6:30pm (with a break in between) Speed and Reaction: a duality that determines how to engage our muscles. Communication in the couple to address adequate posture and dissociation in various combinations. PRICING 1 day $80 per person pre-reg ($100 at the door) Both days $150 per person pre-reg ($180 at the door) No partner required, but if you do register with a partner you can choose whether or not to rotate. Space is be limited and class will be gender-balanced (it will help if you sign up early :)), max 20 leaders and 20 followers.
