Mastering Milonga: 20-Hour Seminar by Daniela & Luis

"MASTERING MILONGA" We are happy to invite you to our upcoming Foundations Immersion Seminar in Buenos Aires! Please join us for 5 days focused on essential aspects of tango: TECHNIQUE * BODY AWARENESS * CONNECTION * MUSICALITY * FLOORCRAFT... ... in other words, a 20-hour immersion seminar focused exclusively on foundations, stripping your dance to its essential components and rebuilding it from the bottom up and from the inside out! The second program for February 2018 is "Mastering Milonga." This will be a week learning to lead and follow milonga with ease and playfulness, including: - posture and relaxation; - techniques for a more grounded movement; - connecting through fast weight changes and traspies; - syncopations; - classic turns and steps for milonga; - interpreting the melody; - milonga lisa vs. milonga traspie. As always, we will *not* cover fancy steps and sequences in this seminar, but rather focus on building and refining your movement. Our goal is not to add figures but to add comfort, quality and expression, and to unify the knowledge you have accumulated over the years.
