Specializing in Tarraxo, Urban Kiz, and Kizàtrois, he recently won 1st Place in the Couple Category and 2nd Place in the Solo Catetgory at the Tarraxo Battle Competition at Global Tarraxo Montréal 2024. He is known not just for his dancing, but for his good energy, playfulness, and ability to uplift the room and dance floor. Since discovering Kizomba in China in 2019, he has trained and taught all across the globe from North America to Europe and Africa. Studying under the likes of Dwe & Gaby EYK, Saber & Madjouline, Jack & Sara Tarraxo, and Jah J’a, he has developed a deep understanding and appreciation for developing Tarraxo and Urban Kiz techniques as a way to have more connected and enjoyable dances. Through his travels, and YinYang Kiz dance company, Dylan is able to fulfill his mission of “Dance, Wellness, and Community”: Sharing the art of dance that others took the time to share with him, and fostering spaces and communities where people can come together to relax, enjoy, and understand each other better.
