May 18th dance at Patera Lounge "Old New wonder"

❗️❗️Change of plans ❗️❗️Ecstatic Dance will be at the Patera Lounge on May 18th with our new DJ Natalie Doud. We are excited to show case her debut set for Spokane Ecstatic Dance called, Old New Wonder. In the midst of an Icelandic Seiðr I asked the oracle, deep in trance, what wisdom I should bring back with me to share with you. This is what she said. Look at the world with a new kind of wonder in your eyes. A kind of new that is also very old. An ancient fresh perspective. A paradoxically Old New Wonder. So this dance is intended to connect us with that way of being in the world. To connect us to the land, to the unseen. To that hidden magic which has always been there. Join us in this Old New Wonder as we traverse through ancient Viking, Norse and Pagan music blending into that fresh new electric gen z beat that reminds us that we have always danced. 📆 Schedule for Sunday, May 18th: 🕑10:30 AM doors open with meditative music being played and social time.
