Lindy Hop Boot Camp This monthly boot camp is a great way to freshen up your technique and connection while learning some new moves at the same time. Commit to just 2-4 HOURS and learn the same amount of material you'd learn during a whole MONTH of regular group classes! 1:00 PM EAST COAST SWING – This class will cover some fun East Coast Swing patterns (easier than Lindy Hop). BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE 2:00 PM DIPS AND TRICKS – Learn some flashy steps and dips. This class is great for materials to show off at a party or in a jam circle! ALL LEVELS (but please know your basic East Coast Swing or Lindy Hop otherwise 1:00 PM class is required) 3:00 PM IT’S THE WAY THAT YOU DO IT - Correct TECHNIQUE will be covered along with the basic patterns. This class is a great introduction as well as a review for the seasoned dancer. BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE 4:00 PM JAM SESSION – Cool pattern variations. This hour will focus on mixing 8 count and 6 count variations together to give yourself some great dynamics in your dancing. INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED 5:00 PM AERIALS/AIR STEPS - Last month we covered the basics and worked on a few fun tosses and lifts. This month we’ll foray into some air steps that are a little bigger as well as possibly a flip depending on everyone’s comfort level. INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED. A PARTNER IS REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS. Don’t be scared! We will be using spotters and making everyone feel safe! Next month we will be starting over with and introduction to aerials class if you're interested but not ready for this one yet! Known for bringing innovative ideas to traditional techniques and sharing them with the dancers around the world, Chrissy has had the honor of performing and teaching at many exciting events and venues including: Walt Disney World, Superbowl XXXV, and Hard Rock Live. In addition to performing private shows for a variety of corporate conventions and fundraisers, she has also choreographed and appeared in film and theater for Hard Rock Lives’ Oscar Night America, American Heartland Theaters production of SWING! and the University of MO-KC.
