May swing dance lessons and DJ social dance

DJ Night! Come get out on the dance floor to get your steps in and learn some new moves, bring snacks to share! Socialize and dance to start your week off swinging! Come join us each Monday night at the Firefighters Banquet Hall. Each week will start with classes that brush up and build on as the month proceeds. Please arrive early, classes will begin promptly at 7pm. DJ nights are perfect for practicing, and give you the opportunity to get a one on one dance evaluation with an instructor to get tips and guidance on your level and moves. *Student discounts available EVERY week! 🕺 May Dance Classes East Coast 1 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Nick & Ale 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey. This class will cover the main fundamentals of swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement. Lindyhop 2 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Gilbert & Hannah 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Continue learning more intermediate and advanced moves of this 8-count dance. Lindy can be danced to slow or fast music, often blending several styles including 6-count and Charleston, and includes the famous "swing-out" with swivels! Join us if you have a firm grasp of fundamentals taught in past classes. Charleston 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: Torrey & Sheri 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Come get your kicks and continue to learn more of this fast paced variation! Originally a solo dance, can be added to partnered dance east coast swing and lindyhop! Ideal for fast songs and upbeat tempos. If you joined us last month or have past knowledge of basics, we will be building on more moves. NOTE: While these classes are available each week, please know that it takes personal commitment to improve your dancing. This may include self-practice, group practices, or private lessons with instructors. Growth requires pushing your limits & testing your potential. Dance is no exception to this rule. The parking lot is directly outside of the building on the left side. There is also additional parking on the right side. 🍺 𝐁.𝐘.𝐎.𝐁. We have been given permission from the SA Firefighters Association to allow our guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages. Water bottles & sodas will remain for sale. NOTE: We have the right to deny entry or to escort guests out of the premises if we feel they are above the legal intoxication limit, are disturbing the peace, or are attempting to serve alcohol to minors. Keep in mind that this is an all-ages event and while we allow adults to bring their own beverages we must remind everyone to be responsible and follow the law.
