Divina Familia, we welcome you to Mayan Lake Ecstatic Dances at Shambala on Thursdays. We'll be playing the best ecstatic medicine music of favorite artists from the spiritual community of Central America. Ecstatic dancing involves dancers abandoning themselves to the beat and moving freely to the music, causing trance and euphoria. Dance meditation, contact improv practices, acustic co-play (with drums, flutes, rattles etc.) and chanting/toning together help individuals relax and express.
