This week we have the incredible MC Shakti (Micaela Carron) DJing, and live music by her Brazilian brother Jim Hahn! We are hosting the dance outdoors at Sp'awk'us Feather Park at the Squamish Waterfront! We have a new high quality sound system as well, so many reasons to come out to dance!! Bio: ✨MC Shakti is the Creatrix of Enliven Wellness Festival and Dance Temple Squamish - she is a passionate community builder, dancer and musician that believes in the power of intentionally curated musical journeys to allow you to tap into the space of bliss, freedom and empowerment within you. Her intention is to remind you that We are the Medicine, and to create a container where you can unravel, forget, remember, shed and transform, and to allow all parts of you to be witnessed and celebrated. Her sets combine music from all over the world, honoring our global human family and the profound influence that various cultures have had on our modern musical landscape. Join her for an evening of wild, sensual, heartfelt authentic expression. Jim Hahn: Jim Hahn is a visionary musician and voice guide from the spiritual community of Sol Da Manhã in southern Brazil. He began composing at a young age and later created the “Flowering of Expression” method after a deep journey of self-discovery. His music blends soft, progressive chords, improvisation, and invented language to express life’s mysteries. Rooted in plant medicine and spiritual practice, Jim’s sound is both healing and awakening. He lives simply—tending his garden, creating music, and sharing space with his Rising Sun family. Our ecstatic dance has an especially intimate family vibe. It is a sober space with no talking during the dance - however there is time to share and connect after! Parking is street parking or in the main parking lot across from the field. All you need to bring is your water bottle, comfy clothes to dance in and cash for admission (or e transfer to [email protected] PRIOR to entry). Admission is $20, and we now have 5x and 10x punch passes for sale. Inquire at the door. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to us! We aim to provide an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, including children! However, please make sure your children can remain quiet during Savasana and the sharing circle so that we can maintain the integrity of the container.
