Medicine for the People Fundraiser & Birthday Party

Saturday Jan 18th for my Birthday! Im having birthday party and fundraiser for MFTP, plus a clothing drive for the homeless. 6pm- 12 at The Portal in South Austin. A beautiful 7000 square ft intentional event center. ( See Video below and hit me up if you are interested in hosting at this space at later dates ) We will have lots of fun activities : DANCING and movement in the sanctum with DJ Sharu. We will be covering the dance floor with interlocking foam pads for softness in dancing, contact improv, partner stretching, acro yoga ect. We will be COOKING our world famous gumbo and vegan curry again. Please feel free to bring snacks to share cause you are cool like that. There will OPEN ART EXHIBIT. I will be bringing my personal paintings and sculptures to display. CREATION STATION with a communal art project. We will also have SILENT AUCTIONS for good and services There will be a RAFFLE for 2 FREE MFTP TICKETS. Flow arts and FIRE PERFORMERS onsite BOUNCE HOUSE for the kids TEA LOUNGE /CACAO / ELIXERS / HAPÉ BAR 11:11 GROUP OM AND HUG It is a PARTY and a FUNDRAISER- so we don't have set ticket prices. We are asking for DONATIONS to support MFTP past and future gathering. We want to remain sustainable. Everything helps and is appreciated. We are suggesting a SLIDING SCALE $15-$50 per person. Donations earn one RAFFLE ticket per $20 donated. (example $60 DONATION = 3 raffle tickets) PRIZE: two free tickets plus parking pass If you would like to contribute in other / additional ways please reach out. As all events I host, it is a family friendly- community first event. Volunteers, artists, performers ect are welcome to reach out if you feel called. CLOTH DRIVE! Its cold outside so lets bless some people up with any extra winter gear for the like blankets, jackets, gloves, hats, socks, and hygiene products for the homeless. We will have a bin for cloths and blankets then will hand out to the homeless. If you can not be there in person but would still like to participate in the RAFFLE for 2 free tickets , ( or just donate) you can use these services and your name will go in the raffle box too. just put raffle in the notes.
