Our aim is to raise funds for the sanitation and teaching projects that are run by Dream Big Ghana. Last years festival raised over £6,000 for DBG, this money has been directed to a variety of community projects. The projects include: School compost Toilet block, Female hygiene and safety, vital funding for our community centre and more. We can't wait to share with you the progress come March 2019. The festival is held in the stunning location of The Meet Me There Lodge - the lodge itself is a Not for profit eco lodge which directs all profits back into Dream Big Ghana. Limited amount of accommodation is available on site and is booked on a first come first served basis. All other accommodation is a 15-30 minute taxi ride away. Our programme includes locally ran workshops, ranging from Batik printing, Ghanaian Cuisine, African Drumming and dancing workshops plus many more. Party For The People is a UK based social enterprise and online ticketing platform, set out to raise funds for charities all over the world in collaboration with events and festivals. They use the profits from booking fees to support those in need. Dream Big Ghana, is a UK registered charity, the mission of Dream Big Ghana NGO is to work with the village communities of Dzita and Agbledomi on sanitation, healthcare, education and youth sports development projects. The NGO provides practical volunteering opportunities for people from the UK and elsewhere. The NGO also organises elective placements for health care students. To date there have been 80 toilets built, benefiting around 2000 people.
