During the workshops, you can count on lots of zouk technique (explanation, demonstration and practice) that will help us learn more about comfortable, beautiful and precise leading and following. In this session, we will talk about different kinds of music that we dance zouk to, their characteristics and styles, with music samples played to demonstrate and to later help you recognise the different styles. DJ Shing is a very experineced DJ (13 years of DJing experience around the world), and she will show you how zouk music has evolved throughout the years and throughout the different zouk scenes, thus influencing difference dance styles. _____ Akash Kumar (DJ Zeal) - Sunday musicality session "Using musical patterns in your dance." In this session, we will talk about some principles behind the way music can be structured. This knowledge will help you improve your musicality when dancing to music you already know and to to predict and interpret the songs you hear for the first time. DJ Zeal is a zouk dancer, teacher and DJ. He is also a professional musician (MA from Wrocław Academy of Music) and a multi-instrumentalist He uses his knowledge and experince to develop the musicality in his own dance, as well as in the dance of his students. Oleandry is also inexpensive and has rooms for 2 to 12 people, so if you go with a larger group of friends, you can take a room together for a very low price (from about 8 EUR per person).
