Matinées is an authentic Cuban cultural experience bringing together dance, live music, percussion, food, style, and community — all in one vibrant Saturday. Created and curated by Damarys Farrés, Cuban-born dancer, educator, and cultural ambassador, MiCUBA! celebrates Cuba’s living traditions through themed monthly matinées — from Son Cubano and Rumba to Afro-Cuban and Carnival culture.
