Matinées is an authentic Cuban cultural experience bringing together dance, live music, percussion, food, style, and community — all in one vibrant Saturday. Created and curated by Damarys Farrés, Cuban-born dancer, educator, and cultural ambassador, MiCUBA! celebrates Cuba’s living traditions through themed monthly matinées — from Son Cubano and Rumba to Afro-Cuban and Carnival culture. This edition features a very special From Son to Rumba Experience, created in collaboration with Homero Gozalez, Anier Jova, Randy and some guests.... 🗓 EVENT DETAILS Date: Saturday 27 June 2026 Time: 15:00 – 21:00 Location: Near Oval Theme / Dress Code: Casual Elegance (white, red , blue) (Please dress to theme – no trainers, no big brand sportswear, avoid BLACK) 💃 THE MiCUBA! Former UK Salsa Champion and BBC cultural contributor, internationally recognised for her joyful, authentic, and empowering approach to Cuban and Afro-Cuban culture.
