MID-YEAR CREW AUDITIONS – SUNDAY 6 JULY Paradox Dance Studio | Hip Hop & Street Competition Teams We’re excited to announce mid-year auditions for our Paradox comp crews and we’d love to invite new dancers to join us in Term 3. If your child is passionate about dance, ready to grow, and thrives in a team environment, this is a great opportunity to step in. If your for stronger training, our crews are about commitment, progress and purpose with a culture built on support, respect, and drive. Submit a video audition to [email protected] 📍 Location: Paradox Dance Studio – 19 Burke Street, Woolloongabba ⏰ Sign up below & arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and warm up TEAMS & TRAINING TIMES 🖤 Beat Baddies (6–9 yrs) 🖤 Trybe (9–12 yrs) → Training: Wednesday & Friday 🔥 Vybe (12–15 yrs) → Training: Fridays 💥 Brazen (15–18 yrs) → Training: Tuesday & Sunday All comp team dancers are also expected to complete a weekly Hip Hop or Street class outside of their choreography training. 📅 Term starts the week of 14 July TRAINING COSTS Fees range from $55–$80 per week, depending on the team and training hours. Training includes 3–6 hours per week, with no extra charges for additional rehearsals in the lead-up to comps. WHY PARADOX? Paradox is not your average comp studio. We train with intent, purpose, and discipline. Our teams consistently place at top competitions like ADCC, HHI, Rumble, and House of Champions. But more importantly, we grow dancers who are confident, committed, and connected. Our choreography is challenging & draws from a diverse range of styles with a strong foundation in fusion, particularly Afro and street forms, giving our crews a distinctive international edge. Every performance is crafted with precision, from musicality to movement to styling from Chris & Yasim Coronado. Our costumes are a standout at every event, designed in-house to reflect our fashion-forward approach and unique creative direction. We expect dedication, grit, and a high level of commitment from our team members. This program is not for everyone — it’s for dancers who are hungry to grow, ready to work, and serious about becoming the best they can be.
