Milena ******************************************************* Milena Plebs Tango dancer, teacher and choreographer born in Buenos Aires. Milena studied classical dance, choreography and learned tango with Juan Carlos Copes, María Nieves, Los Dinzel, Antonio Todaro and Pepito Avellaneda. She is the central artist in the resurgence of tango dancing through her participation in the show Tango Argentino by Claudio Segovia and Héctor Orezzoli (1986-1989) and the co-creation of the show Tango x 2 (1990) with Miguel Ángel Zotto. MILENA PLEBS, together with MIGUEL ANGEL ZOTTO created the "TANGO X 2 COMPANY" that revolutionized the concept of the tango show; they were choreographers, directors and main interpreters of shows "TANGO POR DOS", "PERFUMES DE TANGO" and "UNA NOCHE DE TANGO". With these shows they performed extensive seasons in theaters of Buenos Aires and toured for four years in Europe, USA and Asia. Milena gives seminars on various topics of tango, her teaching is based on recovering the genuine tradition of tango dance and putting it together with contemporary dance trends. In 2023 she created together with Corina De La Rosa, Aurora Lubiz and Analía Vega, the experiential seminars "Roles in Play", on the change of role in tango dance.
