She has been a member of Tango Norte since many years. She has played at various events since 2013, mostly at local milongas in Norrland but also in Norway and Latvia as well as at several international events in Sweden. Jenny dances both roles, teaches, DJs and holds music courses to spread curiosity about tango music. “Over the past ten years, it has become clear to me that I experience tango at its strongest in close embrace and with traditional music, mainly from the 30s and 40s. That is why that music is always the core of my DJ sets, together with carefully selected cortinas”. As a DJ, Jenny is concerned with feeling the atmosphere on the dance floor, and her ambition is always to feel the dancers’ joy, playfulness and desire to dance. 🏚About Chicago: Chic!
